The son of His Majesty's teacher. AbdulHaqeem AlGhassani? Is so, I think he should be elected since he is a qualified professional and can be good representative of Salalah.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9088783565849701867.post-2594729816591663732015-08-31T10:05:17.087+04:002015-08-31T10:05:17.087+04:00''''Fascinating post. My knowledge on politics is limited but a well known fact all around is that democracy if not exercised correctly can turn out to become mordern dictatorship(personal and family financial-power enhancements) a recent example i can give is the ex-president of a asian subcontinental island who may become the prime minister. Though oman(atleast muscat governorate) is way ahead with regards to treatment of women as compared to other gcc countries it will be atleast a good 10 years for women to advance in the field of politics. Maybe the tribes as u have mentioned must do good research on how countries operated when they 1st became a democracy and maybe realise how not do commit their mistakes and learn how to do better the things done right by them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9088783565849701867.post-50851741484915002232015-08-14T22:14:35.549+04:002015-08-14T22:14:35.549+04:00Great post! I heard them because they were on twitter and whatsapp etc...Omani Princess (not Omani...yet)https://www.blogger.com/profile/11738377563210269837noreply@blogger.com
