More Drug Dealers

If you remember my March post about the drug campaign, evidently (if my sources are right - and yes that's sources, not source), one of the people arrested for questioning is the the one and only Al Fadhilya, Dhofar's #1 Makeup Lady. She charges 100 Rials for bridal makeup and sometimes even more!!! HOW THE HELL could she be involved? Some people told me she was selling drugs to girls claiming the drugs would make them white or thin or whatever.
.
This is unbelievable. Has anyone heard about this?

  3. For all girls…..please read, I don't want to be rude, so if you are not one of the follow, please don't get offended…………………..

By the way if it is true and those girls were purchasing drugs as something to make them white, well let me say that you Dhofari girls are the most stupid girls on the planet. What a punch of losers!!! And you still ask for your rights???? Respect yourselves then go for your rights. As long as you have such mentalities you don't deserve those claimed rights. What rights………….to become more white…..just like ghosts. Be good mothers and stay as you are, whitening seekers milked cows. Finally, I'm a Dhofari man, so don't go and through this on someone else from somewhere in Oman.

  6. indeed it is a serious problem when people start rejecting themselves and try to be someone else... be yourself and accept yourself the way you are only then others will accpet you too.

I did not all Dhofari girls, but only those who run behind illusions. It is ok if you want to improve your life, personality, education….etc, but your skin!!! I think this is too much to accept. BUT if you want to do this, it is OK, it is your body, but please do it in the right way, not by mixing whitening products plus some more diluted H2SO4???

How dare I?? Don't make me laugh.

So please don't interpret my word to something that within your intentions, nor let anger hide the truth from you eyes. Please read my last line.

  12. Touching on the "whitening" bit again: I guess we all want to be what we are not. And, I am wondering what Dhofari women think when they look in the mirror and see their brown skin.

Being "white" I want to be "brown". When I look in the mirror in winter time, when I haven't seen the sun for a while, I think I look "ill". Pale skin, every blemish and late night out showing on my face/ around my eyes, no contrast between the color of my lips and the skin on the rest of my face, my teeth seem yellower than when I have a tan, my skin seams less firm. And so on and so on.....

Getting a tan is also not without consequence (sun burn/ premature aging of the skin/ skin cancer) and still I LOVE getting a tan once in a while. I put on less suntan lotion than I should and oooh do I think I look great after a day in the sun....

So, although I think the Dhofari's natural skin color is very very beautiful (and "white" to me is synonym to all the things I mentioned above), I can understand why you want to be white....
