Eid on Friday September 10th or Saturday September 11th. The fact that our big Muslim holiday may just land on September 11th isn't going to help Muslims in the US. Send a prayer out to them!
Ya, It will really be hard for American Muslims if Eid falls on Sept. 11th, not only for that reason but there is also a group planning to burn Qurans that day also. Inshallah the Quran burning will not happen, and cooler heads prevail.
ReplyDeleteLOL just love your list. :-)
ReplyDeleteCan you explain why Eid being on 9/11 will not help Muslims in the U.S.? Nothing bad is done on Eid. I understand that it is a very special day for Muslims and a day of celebration right? Maybe the Muslims in the US could all invite a non-muslim to join in their festivities and pray together for the victims of 9/11. No true Muslim ever wanted 9/11..... I see it as a perfect opportunity to show the world that Islam is a non-violent belief.
May you and your loved-ones have a beautiful Eid.
6. All Abaya Shops
ReplyDeleteSigh.
hmmmm ur right i hope everything will b fine for them inshaallah

I agree on September 11...Tell me is the three days of Eid very busy in Salalah. Here in Doha, its crazy right now but on the 3 days of Eid, its generally not so hectic as is right now. hope your ramadan is going well..hugs and love:)
ReplyDeleteSalaam u5ti,
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing -- about Eid possibly being on September 11th O_O
Following ur advice, i am going to spend the Eid out of Salalah (in Pakistan).
