Happy Birthday to Me!

Happy Birthday to Dhofari Gucci! One year ago today I logged onto Blogger and created my baby. It has been an amazing journey. Thank you to all my readers for the support, comments, and debates. And a special thank you to all the haters who make my life more interesting!
.
When I first started, I was using the blog to vent. I never thought anyone would find it and I didn't bother sending the link to anyone. However, lo and behold, Faith & Sting found my blog and that was the beginning. Thanks again !
.
Have a great weekend everyone!

  2. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO YOU DHOFARI GUCCI

First of all, I would like to congratulate you on the first anniversary of your blog.
I started following your blog since May 2009 I guess. I find you to be a remarkably inspiring blogger. You are the one who inspired and PUSHED me to start my own blog.
I can say that you are one of the best bloggers in Oman ( لا تشتبحي واجد :-)).
Keep blogging Nadia… Am sure you are going to inspire many girls(and boys) to write and think in a different, productive and an optimistic way.
    كل سنة ومدونتك بخير

  4. Happy Birthday to your sweet blog <3

Sting was the first btw. Keep on blogging, it's almost the only blog I check on daily basis - apart from my blog.

You're amazing, and so is your blog :)

    Best wishes,
    Faith

  5. Happy Birthday and Congratulations!!!

Your blog is by far my favourite blog ever! - and not merely because you are from Dhofar. No, it's because you write well, with a voice and tone to be proud of, about various topics that are not only interesting, but compelling, relevant, thought-provoking, and just plain awesome!

I find myself looking forward to my 'alone' time every day, which has now actually become 'Dhofari Gucci' time! This is the first and only blog I ever felt compelled to actually compose comments on. You are an inspiration - keep it up!

Hope to see you and gucci celebrate many, many, many more anniversaries!

  15. Salam Nadia on your blog's anniversary. I'm from Libya and enjoy reading your blog. Perhaps you can help me with some research I'm doing. I heard that there is an Omani dialect that is similar to the Amazigh (Jbali) dialect in Libya and other North African Arab countries. Do you have any 'inside' info on this subject? Google hasn't any clear answers!
