Yes, you heard me. I have a competitor. Not too sure if I'm pleased about it or not (I'm a selfish person), but I'm happy about having another blogger from Dhofar who writes in English. She's only published three posts, but I can tell that her future observations are going to be super-interesting. I may even meet her one day (in my niqab and pink grill glasses to conceal my identity). Please join me in welcoming Rania, author of Sleepless in Salalah!

Salaam Ms. Gucci, Id be tickled pink to meet you...in person, sans shades! Competition? Bring it baby!
ReplyDeleteInteresting blog..
ReplyDeleteI think she will have a different take on Salalah than you Nadia.
Reality, true ... but she's witty so that's competition ... I think between the two of us we'll be able to give the English-speaking blogosphere in Oman a good idea of what Salalah is really like.
ReplyDeleteHi Nadia
ReplyDeleteThank you for telling us about SLEEPLESS SALALAH. Very nice blog(be careful! its hard to compete with!!)
For sure we'll benefit from your competition.
* for Rania.. I like your Thoub!
good to encourage and to be encouraged good thing that has to be rooted in us.
ReplyDeleteUr glasses are cool, where did u find em, got em custom made yeah!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd also I want to know who u are honestly.
And whos's this new blogger Rania
I think it will be very interesting to read how you see your own culture and how does Rania as expat sees it?
ReplyDeleteAlso it does give another aspect if Rania would like to mention if she is Arab expat from her name, or where she met her husband, I’m just curious to know the name of that country: (luxuries of ‘home’).
Nadia if u dont wanna tell me abt urself atleast tell me whr u found these in Salalah
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, why the heck would I want to tell people about myself 'honestly'? Haha... And Rania too? Why would she?
