23rd of July Celebration!

I can't believe it's been 40 years since His Majesty overthrew his father (in a bloodless coup) and turned Oman into a modern country. Look how far we've come! I will not join the thousands who will be marching down 23rd of July street today in celebration. I will sit in my favorite spot at the top of the mountains and say a prayer for His Majesty and this wonderful country. Happy Birthday Oman!

    That sounds so lovely. But I think I would have liked joining the march...I just saw it on TV : (

    Nothing new the same stereotype is presented over and over each year and half of this shameless nation still scattered in GCC countries like UAE,QATER AND QUWAIT.
    I myself look at these people as machines which are operated by others who still in their positions since the birth of this sleepy nation.
    as long as the monopoly exist in all sphers of this country as more corruption these peasants will have.
    u did a greate stand that u didnt participate in this hypocritical march.
